Weeki Wachee Springs State Park or "Weeki Wachee" is a Florida attraction located at Crystal River
near Tarpon Springs, Florida.
It has featured a live mermaid show since 1947 with young women dressed as mermaids performing
underwater with the aid of breathing tubes.
Several films and television shows have been filmed there including the Elvis Presley 1962 film
"Follow that Dream" and an episode of the CBS television program "Route 66" in 1964.
The tokens were issued in at least two metals, white metal and brass.
