The 1948 film "Silver River" is a "Western" set in the post Civil War period in Nevada. Mike McComb (Errol Flynn) is a former Union army officer who heads west to set up a gambling house. Later he becomes wealthy and the town boss.
 
On the way Mike plays poker with Georgia Moore (Ann Sheridan) for her wagons and a silver mine. Cards and coins lay on a table.
